Southeast Regional Sales Director - (Atlanta, GA) - Full Time

Summary of Position:

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for overall sales success in the assigned region. Liaising and co-selling with Salesforce management and account executives, the RSD will be actively involved in significant project opportunity pursuits in the assigned territory and will develop his/her own Sales Activity Plan in collaboration with the OCS Business Development team. It is expected that the RSD will monitor his/her sales pipeline and monthly/quarterly sales targets, and be diligent and objective in forecasting results with OCS management.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to sales methodology and processes as defined by the OCS sales team
  • Achieve sales goals set by executive management
  • Engage in negotiation of customer contracts with a focus on maintaining full resource rates while remaining within discounting guidelines set by executive management when discounting is required
  • Align with Salesforce Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives and other Salesforce and Partner resources as appropriate
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by consistently following up with clients after a sale is made, and as a point of escalation when necessary
  • Active involvement in various local user groups, forums, etc. across assigned territory
  • Manage assigned Leads with immediate follow up and communication
  • Participate in strategic account planning for key accounts
  • For more significant accounts, seek assistance from OCS Management and other resources to increase chances of success
  • Participate in, lead, and promote appropriate regional marketing events
  • Maintain optional certifications
  • Potentially provide standard solution demonstrations as appropriate
  • Work with OCS Management to constantly improve processes and efficiencies
  • Collaborate with the delivery organization and Sales Engineering to maximize revenue growth, account penetration and client satisfaction
  • Participate as requested in strategic Overground Cloud Services planning meetings
  • Proactively work with Delivery Management to ensure proper handoffs and communication on specific closed deals.
  • Prioritize and enable activities to ensure highest rankings on CSAT and specific customer needs or issues.
  • Represent the company with the highest level of professionalism, integrity and proactive knowledge of our offerings and solutions.
Preferred Skills & Experience

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in selling of technology services within the Salesforce ecosystem, or related to Cloud technologies, and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, well spoken with excellent presentation skills, adept at working independently and in a team environment, able to develop a strong sales cadence, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are:

  • B.A. degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent preferred
  • User or administrative experience with Salesforce
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales quota in technology product or service industry
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to locations in assigned region
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and understand the business model and common challenges of a variety of customer industries and company size
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of past company successes in order to secure customer buy-in
  • Proven solution and service selling to large enterprise accounts is a plus
  • Experience navigating companies of varying sizes to reach decision makers, including C-level
  • Awareness of some of the following technologies: the Salesforce Platform and Cloud products, APEX, VisualForce, Flows, Integration/EAI technologies (e.g. Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit), C++Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc.), Common Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)
  • Experience with managing multiple client relationships at once
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technology sales (preferably technology service sales)
Ideal Candidate
  • Technology Service Sales experience
  • Proven success developing successful sales results
  • Successful sales resource who has sold Salesforce-related implementation services in the past, or led a team that has performed those sales
  • Existing Sales contacts in the Atlanta Salesforce office
