Salesforce Engagement Manager

Summary of Position:

The Engagement Manager is responsible for leading a project’s delivery team through the successful delivery of all projects. Engagement Managers may be managing one or more client engagements at the same time. They manage CloudBlazer resources and interface with client members to most effectively meet budget, delivery and customer satisfaction goals. They manage risks and resolve issues via regular status meetings with the project team and all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully.
  • Manage the client relationship throughout the engagement to build and maintain a strong customer relationship.
  • Continually assess people, process and technology risks and adjust project plans to address them accordingly.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to project team members.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of the Salesforce product suite in order to validate key design options and present proposal solutions to all levels of client management.
  • Support change control best practices.
  • Travels with client or project team as needed - up to 25% (covid depending).
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Five years of full life-cycle professional services implementation experience.
  • Minimum of an active Salesforce Administrator and Sales Cloud required.
  • Strong client management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
  • Note – Determination of Senior (Engagement Manager) will be based upon the candidates previous relevant experience and depth of skills, and will be determined through our skills interview process.
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Ideal Candidate
  • Located in Central or South-East U.S.
  • Salesforce Certifications (Preferably Salesforce Admin, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant).
  • Strong understanding of business processes across multiple industries and how to integrate new processes.
  • Experienced in small, medium, and enterprise level projects.
  • Ability to generate change requests and identify new growth opportunities within the framework of the client's technology roadmap.
  • Manages expectations at all organizational levels.
  • Most importantly, team oriented, thick-skinned and ready to have fun.
